Hensikten med kurset er å gi personell om bord skip underlagt IGF koden en introduksjon om driften av denne type skip. Kurset fokuserer på å skape bevissthet rundt LFF som drivstoff. Kurset er utviklet og gjennomføres i samsvar med IMO model course 7:13.

1. januar 2017 ble IGF-koden obligatorisk og STCW inneholder nå nye minimumskrav til opplæring og kvalifikasjoner av personell på skip som er underlagt IGF-koden. Dette treningsprogrammet er godkjent av Sjøfartsdirektoratet. Opplæringen består av et e-læringskurs, praktiske øvelser ved et treningssenter og en eksamen. Etter fullført og bestått kurs utstedes kursbevis.

Den praktiske opplæringen gjennomføres på ulike sikkerhetssentre i Norge og i utlandet. Velg det mest hensiktsmessige treningssenteret for deg selv eller dine ansatte. Who is this course for?

This FSE High and Low Voltage Training course is suitable for everyone working on low and high voltage installations.

Is previous experience required?

You do not need prior knowledge or experience to complete this course, but it is assumed that you are competent in your designated role.

How will this course benefit me?

The course meets the requirements set in Section 7 of the ‘Safety Regulations for Work and Operation of Electrical Equipment and Installations – FSE’ which is that all relevant personnel undertake annual training and instruction in FSE. The course also provides the necessary training and instruction in first aid, focusing on electrical injuries, with the exception of the mandatory practical training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

The regulations of various authorities make FSE applicable to all those working with electricity, whether on board ship, on platforms or on land. This course is suitable for all, regardless of which industry you work in.

The authorities require that training in FSE and first aid in the event of electrical accidents is undertaken at least once a year. No more than 12 months shall elapse between training courses.

All crew and personnel who work on container ships and/or ships where containers are secured on board for stowage.

Is previous experience required?

It would be an advantage, however, this course acts as an introduction for someone who is about to be trained in container lashing safe use and inspection or for those working on shore in stowage.

Hva kreves for å løse ut IGF Advanced sertifikat?

Etter gjennomført kurs må deltaker opptjene nødvendig praksis på et IGF fartøy. Godkjent praksis teller fra de har mottatt sitt IGF Basic sertifikat. I tillegg må de kunne dokumentere minimum 3 bunkringer før de kan søke ut sitt Advanced - sertifikat.
