This course aims to provide learners with an understanding of US best practice in relation to working safely with ladders.
Learning Objectives:
LO1 Identify safe practices when working with ladders
LO2 Identify the types of portable ladders and their use, capacities, and safety considerations
LO3 Explain the correct placement of a ladder using the 4-to-1 rule
LO4 Identify specific use, capacities, and safety features of fixed ladders
LO5 Give an overview of guidelines for ladder care and maintenance
